But even as officials from Washington to Zeeland set the gears of government to motion Jeannie Westra of Holland was buying paper towels cleaning supplies and plastic bins from the Holland K-Mart Sunday afternoon. Westra said she hoped to preserve some of the items left by her now-grown children in her home in the Summerlin South subdivision in Holland Township. “I told (my kids) that anything they want to keep down there has to be in plastic” Westra said.
