Disneyland is a magical kingdom even for grown-ups
eTaiwan News
We can have a great time all by ourselves experiencing enough of the breathless magic seemingly designed for the young with a nice balance of activities geared more for “adults. ” In the end though you find yourself missing the kids more often than not. And after the fuss they made when we got home it’s pretty obvious we won’t get away with leaving them behind any time soon.

The 100 hour Rock Marathon
MyBangalore
Bands from all over the country came down to entertain the city in one long marathon ?live? music show. Though the home grown ones seemed to be the crowd favorites bands like Swarathma Raghu Dixit Project and Bhoomi got the crowd going. Chennai?s favourite and one of India?s better known bands ?Junkyard Groove? gave their fans more than they had bargained for. Then there was ?Galeej Gurus? and ?Sinful ath? to name a few. Though the whole experience was nothing like watching the bands play in our very own ?Palace Grounds? in open air this was a new experience for the average Banglaorean rock fan.

The International
DVD Talk
The commentary subtitles are very good too although whoever did the subtitling thinks Syndey Pollack is a movie. ConclusionWhen the movie was in theaters I only liked The International but seeing it again on DVD the little details I liked about in theaters had grown on me and the video bonus features are a nice complement to the film. Ironically the film’s transfer is unable to render the film’s literal little details as well as the high definition digital presentation I saw theatrically. If you have Blu-Ray get that but despite the image quibbles anyone who likes Tykwer or star Clive wen and isn’t worried about a slow-boil thriller should consider the overall package recommended if you can get it at a good price. Please check out my other DVDTalk DVD and theatrical reviews.

PÄ’ia Youth Center
Maui Weekly
” According to PYCC administrators “This mission has evolved from offering programs and activities to putting a face and a voice on our youth and assisting them in being an important and integral part of the community. ”From radio broadcasting and graphic design to skateboarding and guitar lessons the center is bursting at the seams with a fusion of sounds sights and yes even smells—there is a fully-stocked kitchen on-site for budding chefs to prepare delightful culinary masterpieces. Center activities are supervised by a talented and dedicated staff of “grown-ups” who oversee an exhaustive list of daily activities—so many in fact it’s a safe bet that every PYCC member will find something that appeals to his or her interests. But while it may sound like all fun and games the PYCC is also a learning center providing a variety of social educational cultural vocational and recreational activities designed to enhance personal development. In addition the center aims to foster a lifelong enthusiasm for learning and commitment to friends family and community evidence that these members of the next generation will have something special to contribute to Maui. In the aftermath of recent events that have shed a relatively harsh spotlight on island youth PYCC staff and administrators are confident that the center is representative of the inherent good that is so often overlooked. “We have created a safe haven for kids” said PYCC Hekili Multimedia Lab Director Peter Swanzy.
