Yesterday, Devries was showing off a computer-controlled audio-visual mixing board system with touch screens and hand controls. Basically, the system takes audio and video feeds from the computer and cameras to allow the operator to choose and blend elements that can be shown on the Internet or a big screen. The system is designed for use by businesses, churches, theatres and hockey arenas. Having the system set up for a hockey game would allow the operator to blend music, stock footage and live action to a big viewing screen.
