Chinese
officials have said they want 3G services up and running in time for the 2008 Olympic Games, to be held in Beijing. One issue surrounding the opening of 3G services in China has been the selection of the technology or technologies to be used. Many Chinese officials favor a home-grown standard, TD-SCDMA (Time Division-Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access), but
a TD-SDCMA rollout could prove slow because of a lack of support from equipment and handset manufacturers. The IDG News Service is a Network World affiliate.

Dutch Citizen Pleads Not Guilty to Terrorism Charges
Washington Post – Jan 29, 2007
But no government can really be trusted, especially once it concludes that its citizenry no longer consents to be governed. Home-grown terrorist groups Bloods,Crips,KKK, etc. in the US are being brought back into society in the same way that we will eventually see Hamas and Hezbollah and Al-Qaida become legitimate. Maybe Osama will get the Peace Prize someday. Thorough police containment and infiltration will eventually erode the effectiveness of these groups.
