He’s the man who created the monster that is volleyball in Nebraska, backed by arguably the game’s most passionate and knowledgeable fans. Like their Husker football counterparts, these fans know a good block when they see one. And they likewise tout their team’s consecutive sellout streak, national championship trophies, home-grown talent and long list of All-Americans. It’s a fan base that has embraced the elegantly violent women’s sport at all levels, helping turn Nebraska into one of the nation’s hotbeds for college volleyball talent. Those volleyball backers will be out in record numbers tonight as their team begins a weekend quest for another national title, creating an atmosphere unlike any ever seen at a college volleyball match. “I’ve been to (championships) all over the country, and they’re usually in sterile.
Gunfight Erupts Outside Bank

The real point is that this crime would not have happened if these people could not get into the country. We have enough of our own problems. We do not need other peoples headaches. All of our Latin friends, however, are intent on dropping their garbage off at the border and we are letting them get away with it.
Sanctions: Iran has a plan
San Francisco Chronicle – Dec 14, 2006
It was disclosed by Ukraine that their former government sold and delivered 12 Kh-56 cruise missiles to Iran. Although Ukraine denies these weapons were nuclear armed, it seems unlikely that their nuclear warheads were removed- hence the current sabre rattling going on between Iran and Israel. And keep this is mind: US intelligence publicly states that when Iran’s nuclear power program becomes fully operational (years from now), it will have the ability to build 2 home grown weapons a year. At that rate it would take Iran 25 years to reach parity with Israel, although during such a period Iran could expand its program further and accelerate the process. Even so, it may be claimed that it would take over a decade and a half for Iran to reach parity with the stockpile currently possessed by Israel. Conceivably, Iranian use of nuclear weapons in a first-strike capacity seems contrary to self-interest. It should be pointed out, though, that the mere potential of such a strike would make Iran a match with Israel, and seriously curtail Israel’s options in the use of force in the region.

Mateship to protect our nation

Fraser has been proven wrong about so many things that it is probably redundant to note that his claim that "our own principles and belief in liberty" are our strong- est weapons against terrorism is equally flawed. The UK, which is introducing more stringent tests for citizenship, and the Netherlands, which is following suit, were among the most libertarian nations on the planet yet terrorists killed 55 people enjoying their freedom to use London’s transport system, and a terrorist shot dead Dutch filmmaker Theo van Gogh, who had been exercising his freedom of expression to make a film about the abuse of female Muslims by Muslim men in Europe. Would-be pedants will make the claim that the murderers in both incidents were home-grown, which is true, but the ideology was not. It was fully imported by people who were hostile to the culture which had accepted them as citizens. UK Prime Minister Tony Blair last week formally declared Britain’s multicultural experiment was over and that immigrants had "a duty" to integrate with the mainstream of society. "We don’t want the hate-mongers," he said, outlining a set of principles that ethnic minority groups would be required to follow if they wished to call themselves British. These included "equality of respect" – especially better treatment of women by Muslim men – allegiance to the rule of law and a command of English.

Martha is the master of the mix, especially for traditional homes, so check this out. _______________________Baltimore, Maryland: My kids are grown, and I’m turning the kids’ play room into a home office. What’s a good wall color to go with a burgundy carpet? It is a very sunny room. Jura Koncius: Actually, gray goes beautifully with burgundy. Check out Duron’s Repose Gray or Mindful Gray. It’s also sort of businesslike and crisp which would be nice for a home office.
