Le Guen relishing Ibrox challenge
BBC News – May 21, 2006
He also stressed that he has no plans to turn the club into a French enclave, and is aware of retaining a core of home-grown players. But he dismissed suggestions he wants to succeed Arsene Wenger at Arsenal. “I’m not the kind of guy who sets out a career path for himself,” he told the Scotland on Sunday newspaper. “I don’t even know whether I will still be a football coach in three, four or five years’ time, so that kind of fantasy talk, speculation, just makes me laugh. “Joining Rangers is about a new experience, an exciting challenge.

Comprising unashamed studio junkies, Jim McNeilly, and partner in rhythm, Martin West… they bring the very broadest creative inspirations to the table. Born and raised on the mean streets of Belfast, McNeilly had a misspent youth, listening to a music mad father’s Elvis collection, his mother’s James Brown LP’s and an older brother’s Clash 45’s. Growing up during the height of the sectarian troubles, music for Jim was both a refuge and a passion, finally becoming the all consuming obsession it is today. Production maestro, and yang to Jim’s Yin is Martin West, a new soul rebel and music minded B-Boy, who is heavily into his hip-hop. He is responsible for laying down Konkrete’s instantly identifiable beats. Born into the multi-cultural melting pot, and urban music Mecca, Hackney, he was raised in a deeply musical family, his mother having worked as an A&R scout for Decca records throughout the sixties. The label was then home to the Rolling Stones and a host of other iconic R&B stars… Currently working with several major and independent record labels, in the UK and abroad, the duo aim in their own words, “To raise the bar in British music making to the highest level and to compete with our transatlantic cousins on totally equal terms. ”
With passion, ambition and undeniable talent, Martin West and Jim McNeilly are perfectly placed to put the UK’s increasingly diverse music scene back on the international radar. The past few years have seen quantum leaps in raw, home grown talent across every musical divide. Now Great Britain has Konkrete… producers capable of taking that talent to the next level and beyond. “The future’s arrived … and it’s as heavy like Konkrete. ”
After a recent trip to the heart of London, I caught up with one half of Konkrete Productions to find out a little bit more about this producing duo. John – Sup Martin, firstly would like to say thanks for taking the time to speak to ThugLifeArmy.

–> COPYRIGHT 2006 Newsday Byline: Wallace Matthews May 21–Barry Bonds, the man who hit better at 40 than he had at 20, has done the impossible once again. This time, he has managed to equal one of baseball’s greatest accomplishments without beginning to approach the magnitude of the man who originally set it. Yesterday, Bonds hit his 714th home run, which according to the statisticians ties himwith Babe Ruth for second on baseball’s all-time list. But to say that Bonds has matched Ruth would not only be wrong, it would be laughable. Forget the obvious, that it has taken Bonds nearly 1,000 more at-bats and many thousand cc’s of who knows how many illegal substances to do what Ruth did while nursing a 20-year hangover. Plus, when in Babe Ruth’s career did the entire country have to sit around for two weeks waiting for him to hit a home run? For The Bambino, No.

She said property sold to a member of Congress at substantially under market value can be construed as a “de facto gift,” which would require disclosure on an annual financial report. Ryun made no such filing for 2000. The assessed valuation of the Ryuns’ home in Washington has grown an average of $60,000 annually since they bought it. From 2000 to 2007, the city’s valuation for tax purposes climbed from $325,000 to $764,000. Assuming the market value increased a comparable amount in the two years U. Family Network owned the townhouse, the asking price in 2000 could be expected to be closer to $500,000 than the $410,000 paid by the Ryuns.
