On his latest offering, his seventh solo album, “The Rock: Pressure Makes Diamonds,” he focuses on his roots and his efforts to involve younger people in the scene. The line between rapping about violence and glamorizing it can be fine, but Quinn takes to heart Tupac’s advice to keep looking in your rearview mirror and to pull up those around you. Martha picked them herself this morning in her garden at Cantitoe Farm, in Bedford, upstate New York and, steamed by a minion, they are offered on a white platter with antique silver tongs, cruet and tiny jug of melted herb butter.
