One of the leads that security officials were still chasing, one of the security sources said, was that both Tanweer and Khan in their latest visit went to Raiwind near Lahore, where they may have met some Arab militants. Tahir Pervaiz, the Pakistani uncle of Tanweer, confirmed official reports Tanweer and Khan had visited Pakistan twice, including last November. While staying at his uncle’s home late last year, Tawnweer expressed anger about the civilian killings in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kashmir and voiced admiration for Osama bin Laden, Mr Pervaiz was quoted as telling the Dawn newspaper. "Osama bin Laden was Shahzad’s ideal, and he used to discuss. the man with his cousins and friends in the village," he reportedly said.
