“In out pilot scheme of the AAG at the Kothara village, we found that the cropping could be done for two seasons each year on a stable basis against just one in the open filed conditions,” Sharan said. “Moreover, when the water requirement is reduced to half, yield increases and the choice of crop also widens,” he added. Thus, capsicum and tomatoes, crops never seen before in the region, are grown in the Kothara greenhouse, that too, in the summer season. This is the result of the ETHE technology, which places a number of pipes underground, where the temperature is significantly lower. A blower at one end blows through the pipes air that is cooled underground and is re-entered in the greenhouse from the other end. The ETHE technology was put to test four years ago at the city’s Kamala Nehru Zoological garden to cool tigers’ cages. “The technology is so simple that villagers can operate it themselves.

“So it’s going to be cool just to kind of get down and dirty and rock and roll and stuff. ” Steriogram’s tour follows not long after the Hook Up tour, which took live hip-hop to many smaller centres that usually miss out. The fact that the tour met with such an enthusiastic response in places not famous for their love of rap – such as the West Coast – indicates the wave of popularity that home-grown music is now riding. “It’s wicked, honestly man, New Zealand music is going off right now,” Carter says. “It’s exciting for all genres. “We’re really good friends with the Fast Crew. We were hanging out with them yesterday and they’re doing amazing things.

of Boucherville, Que. , has become a powerful contender to the No. 1 Home Depot also by catering to women’s tastes. As well, Rona has grown rapidly in recent years by swallowing rivals. Now, industry insiders suggest that Lowe’s may eventually try to snap up Rona, if it hasn’t already attempted such a move. When Robert Nibock took over as chief executive officer in January, he told analysts that he was interested in international growth. "Certainly there’s a lot of opportunity on the international side, and it’s something that we will, over the next year or two, be in the process of assessing," Mr.
Spectre of Glazer casts pall over Old Trafford

The colourful Walter Pandini announced his arrival at St Andrews on loan from Deportivo Coruna by saying that he must have been mad to come to Birmingham, not the most positive arrival address ever delivered. But an early goal against Southampton in midweek endeared him to supporters and he almost claimed the opener here with a thumping volley that bounced down off the bar. Some people even thought it had crossed the line before it was cleared but you could never imagine such an incident at Old Trafford being missed by all three officials, could you? Demonstrating that he is not favouring Italian bad boys over home grown ones, Bruce also gave a second successive appearance to Jermaine Pennant, on loan from Arsenal and on bail for a drink-driving offence. Defender Julian Gray might have been set for a tiddly night himself if his fine effort early in the second half had not been cleared off the line by Gabriel Heinze. But with Rooney on the Prozac, it was left to United’s other permanent angry man, skipper Keane, to take matters into his own hands, picking up Ronaldo s back heel and striding past Mehdi Nafti before driving the ball into the corner. He later received a knock which puts Keane out of Ireland’s game against Portugal on Wednesday. Ferdinand was another casualty after coming off with a pulled hamstring.
